Jansangharsh monthly magazine is a collective attempt by indigenous communities in Jharkhand and beyond to write or speak out one's own stories. This is not to say that non-indigenous communities cannot speak or write about indigenous issues, but on the contrary, to acknowledge the rather absence of indigenous authors in telling their own stories. This magazine promotes the authorship of indigenous communities, and encourages them to write about their issues that fall within the realm of social, economic, political, cultural and historical. We believe this adds to the epistemological foundations of any knowledge productions processes, wherein, the 'researcher' and the 'researched' do not come from different social positioning.
